Well, we survived the 2nd snowiest December on record and are quickly becoming pros on negotiating parking, shoveling, and driving. The dogs also survived being boarded in the kennel and Billy did a mid-air flip when I came to pick them up. Today it is supposed to be 60 degrees and I plan on meeting a friend for a walk after a haircut (I'm going short) and an adjustment on my new glasses.
Jeremy still hasn't gotten his security clearance, and he's not sure what is up with that, so keep him in your prayers. He wants to meet expectations to the best of his ability, but is at a loss without a the clearance to work on a project. This week though he is moving to a new desk area in the office and is working under this other guy... so hopefully that will help during this waiting time.
Here are some pictures from our five days in Nederland....

We made this gingerbread house together.... this little kit was only $6 at Trader Joe's. What a steal! It came complete with the people too!

Here we have Jeremy's aunt, uncle, cousin-in-law Nelda (far right), and her and Jerod's (cousin) new baby Emyle.

Me and Grandma... aren't we a pair? She's such a doll, and still has quite a since of humor!

Jeremy, Emyle, and Grandma... Fatherhood suits him well. But don't get all excited friends... no planned cooking in the factory anytime soon.

Left to right.... Jeremy's mom, dad, Audrey (cousin), grandpa, and Jeremy (Audrey's husband). All these pictures are at Jeremy and Audrey's house.

Ode to Jeremy's cats. We'll pay tribute to them here, but they are my allergy nemesis, so you won't ever find them in our house. Left to right.... Domino, KC (for KittyCat.... but I call him Slinger cause he slings snot), and Sheba.

Jeremy's Dot and Bop. Dot was so excited about the Christmas outfit she was wearing. They are awesome grandparents and very generous people.

And finally.... priorities are priorities folks. And a sonic stop in the south is one of them. A lemon berry slush went well with my sore throat and stuffy nose. I have videos of Jeremy on his baby (his dirt bike) but that will wait until later today. Gotta go get my haircut!
